iVend™
is an infrared light sensing unit consisting of a
light emitter and receiver. During a vend cycle,
if a selection is vended and the product is not sensed
by the iVend™
system, the system waits one second then rotates the
helix 1/4 turn. If a product is still not sensed
as dropped by the iVend™
system the helix is then rotated the rest of the way
back to home position. If the product is still
not vended, the customer's credit is restored.
